Lamborghini was founded in 1963 by manufacturing tycoon Ferruccio Lamborghini. It has changed ownership many times and in 1998, it became a subsidiary of Audi AG. Lamborghini is famous for its lustrous and unusual designs, gaining a lot of attention and reactions (both good and bad). Lamborghini have become symbols of performance and wealth. The most popular (and successful) Lamborghini in history is the Countach. It was in production from 1974 to 1988. The Diablo was the fastest production car in the world when it was released in 1990. Lamborghini Gallardo was introduced during the 2003 edition of the Geneva Auto Show. The Murcilago was introduced in 2001 for the 2002 model year as the successor to the famed Diablo supercar.
